Weight Loss

GLP-1 weight loss,
properly supervised.

Semaglutide and tirzepatide deliver real, sustained weight loss when prescribed correctly. Most GLP-1 telehealth providers skip the labs, skip the titration, and skip the follow-up. We don't. Comprehensive bloodwork before you start, careful dose titration, and a licensed provider following your progress at every step.

  • SkipPatients with BMI < 27 or seeking cosmetic weight loss only.

— From the clinic

The mistake most GLP-1 telehealth practices make is starting patients at high doses to chase the scale. We titrate slowly, monitor labs, and treat side effects when they appear — that's how patients actually stay on the protocol long enough for it to work.

How it works

Weekly injection, slow titration, real follow-up.

Semaglutide (generic Ozempic / Wegovy) and tirzepatide (generic Mounjaro / Zepbound) are GLP-1 receptor agonists — they reduce appetite, slow gastric emptying, and improve insulin sensitivity. We start at low doses and increase only as tolerated, with monthly check-ins for the first 90 days.

  • ProtocolSemaglutide 0.25 mg → titrated weekly. Tirzepatide 2.5 mg → titrated weekly.
  • CadenceOnce-weekly subcutaneous injection, self-administered at home.
  • BloodworkComprehensive labs before starting, repeated at 3 and 6 months.
  • ProviderMonthly follow-up for the first 90 days, then quarterly.

What to expect

The first six months.

  • Week 1–4Mild appetite reduction. Possible nausea or GI changes — usually manageable.
  • Week 4–12Steady weight loss begins. Cravings noticeably reduce. Energy stabilizes.
  • Month 3–6Most patients see 10–15% body-weight reduction. Dose may plateau or continue titrating.
  • Month 6+Maintenance phase. Some patients reduce dose, some continue. Provider guides the long-term plan.

Safety & monitoring

What we watch — and why.

Our standard panel covers comprehensive metabolic, lipids, A1c, thyroid, liver, kidney function, and inflammatory markers. We require labs before prescribing and at 3 and 6 months. Side effects are common during titration — nausea, GI changes, fatigue — and almost always resolve with dose adjustment or anti-nausea support.

— What members say

Sustained loss without the white-knuckle hunger.

Down 38 pounds over six months. The titration plan was patient — small doses, give it time. My A1c is back in the normal range for the first time in a decade.

I was on semaglutide from a different clinic and quit after six weeks because of nausea. Stria's provider adjusted my dose, gave me anti-nausea support, and I'm still on the protocol nine months later.

The labs surprised me — cholesterol, blood sugar, inflammation markers all improved alongside the weight loss. This is the first weight protocol I've stayed on past month three.
